A Personal Note

“In Crean Dental we strive to create healthy smiles in a caring and compassionate environment. I believe in treating the person and not just the tooth. I adopt a more holistic approach to dental care where everything is taken into consideration, your jaw joint, salivary glands, neck glands gums and teeth are always checked. After all, the first signs of disease are in the mouth. Your individual needs are our priority.

I love my job, no two days are ever the same. I’ve wanted to be a dentist ever since I was seven years old when I had a horse-riding accident and ended up with a loose and fractured upper front tooth. I thought I was going to lose my tooth. That for me was life-changing. The dentist treated me with so much kindness and empathy and reassured me even though I was terrified. (As well as doing an amazing Job )I’ve always wanted to transform peoples smiles ever since.

Having been in private practice for 11 years. I have pretty much-seen everything. Nothing will ever shock me. So don’t let that be a barrier in creating the smile you deserve.
I love watching the transformation from the initial visit where patients could be quite anxious, particularly if they haven’t seen the dentist in many years, to the final visit where it’s just like any other regular appointment. Hopefully, they have gained a new smile that they can be proud of as well. That for me is job satisfaction.

I particularly enjoy treating children, it is so important to remember that we are shaping their future and their perception towards dental treatment. Gone are the days when children leave dental practices traumatized from dental visits. This is why I specialize in providing needle-free injections and happy gas for nervous patients. There’s no reason why it should be scary. I adopt the tell, show, Do approach. So kids will know exactly what to expect.

Please allow me to assist you on your dental journey, creating the smile you deserve. Looking forward to seeing you soon
